YOUR STARTING POINT
Permanent brows for a busy routine: choose the finish first.
Start with how you want your brows to look on an ordinary day, then discuss the technique.

Explain the part of the routine you want to change.
Perhaps you fill the same gap every morning, prefer a softly shaded brow, or want more definition when wearing little other makeup. Describe that preference at consultation. Bring an unfiltered example of your usual look and one with less makeup. A lighter daily routine is a goal to discuss, not a guaranteed number of minutes saved.
Compare three finishes.
Powder and ombré brows focus on shading. Nano brows aim for a hair-stroke effect, while combination brows bring strokes and shading together. Existing hair, skin and old pigment help shape the recommendation. A technique name alone does not predict the healed finish.
Plan for maintenance as well as convenience.
The FDA: tattoos and permanent makeup explains that permanent makeup is tattooing, can change over time and can be difficult to remove. Discuss healing, follow-up and future upkeep before fitting the first appointment into a busy week. Ask how the fresh appearance differs from healed work and what your own plan includes.
Common questions.
Which brow technique is best for me?
Start with the finish you prefer and let assessment guide the recommendation. Ask why shading, strokes or a combination fits your skin, existing hair and any earlier pigment.
Can I have new work over an old brow tattoo?
Existing pigment needs assessment first. Share previous treatment details and clear photographs through the clinic’s requested channel. Do not assume a new technique can simply cover every earlier shape or colour.
Will I never need brow makeup again?
That is not guaranteed. You may still choose makeup for a different finish, and cosmetic pigment can require maintenance. Discuss the everyday effect you want and the limits of the plan.
Can I fit treatment around work or an event?
Tell the practitioner about your schedule before booking. Ask about the visible healing period, aftercare restrictions and review appointments rather than assuming the first-day appearance is the finished result.
Could I also enquire about lip blush?
Yes, but lip blush requires a separate discussion of current availability, colour goals and suitability. It is a pigment service, not lip filler, and need not be scheduled with brow work.
